Smart farm intends to organize the unorganised
agricultural sector

empowers the Indian farmers
by creating a smart technology- enabled process
driven
ecosystem, which is both convenient and
sustainable for them.
Farmers can purchase all the products needed for
farming and also
sell
their
produce directly to
businesses through the app thereby eliminating any
losses
they
incur due
to middlemen and brokers. This
effects the yield and cost.

The primary challenge was increasing its usability for the technically
challenged farmers.
Creating a channel to know price of their produce, unpredictable weather contitions,
knowledge of sophisticated machinery & equipment.
Decision making ability for the farmers to practise precision Farming, crop monitoring
and know how to rent right equipment.

USER INTERVIEW
The primary challenge of creating an app for our unconventional target audience
was
increasing it
usability for the technically challenged farmers. Having minimal knowledge
of
the market price of
their produce, unpredictable weather contitions, knowledge of
sophisticated machinery &
equipment.
It was discovered that the farmers were not able to sell their produce to different markets.

As we explored more into the life of farmers we spent a lot of time

OUR SOLUTION
After researching the behaviour and practices of the farmers we have come up with the following solutions.
Our inspiration was to facilitate features like weather
forecasting,
current market prices of their products to assist the farmers in minimizing
any kind
of losses due to foreseability.
To serve our users better, we
integrated easy to understand
the
agricultural term, language
support. These findings made it
very clear that
our
designs has to
be extremely simple and should
only incoporate those
elements
that
are a must.
The research helps us gain
insight on the farmers day to day
activities, processes, crop cycles,
and cognitive factors that help
them in
decision
making and at
the same time it allows the
farmers to practise precision

can buy seeds of your choice
hassle-free.

Add your desirable products to your
cart and buy them with easy
checkout
process.
Users also get an option to add more
items at the checkout in case
one
forgets to add any.
OTHER DETAILS
After adding your products to the cart, check your order details, delivery
address before proceeding to check out.
You can also download the invoice to have
a track on payment made.
PLACE ORDER
Place order of your product by entering your personal details like Name,
Phone number, Address, Pincode etc.
Select mode of payment according to your convenience and pay either through card or on
delivery.
